Scope:
Substantial renovation of 227 units. The scope of work included
upgrading all areas per Title 24 requirements including all new lighting system
with low voltage controls, new power for HVAC for all units, and new inverters
for back-up power. The Simone included new upgraded main service including new
meter sections, with transformers, distribution centers, and subpanels.
Additional work included new electrical for modernized existing elevator in two buildings and
new elevator in one, new electrical rooms, new transformers and other electrical equipment, upgrades to
existing common kitchen areas and bathrooms, and new photovoltaic systems.

Scope:
The substantial renovation of 58 units of permanent
supportive housing single room occupancy units was completed on a very tight
schedule. Located in Downtown Los Angeles in a highly congested urban site, the
work was completed while the building was occupied, requiring the building systems
to be kept alive for resident use during construction. The scope of work included upgrading all
areas per Title 24 requirements including all new lighting system with low
voltage controls, new power for HVAC for all units, and new inverters for back-up power.
